The Unknown Ahead was born from one of the most vulnerable seasons of my life.
In the midst of navigating a Crohn's disease diagnosis — the uncertainty, the fear, the pain, the quiet resilience required just to get through each day — I turned to the only language that felt true: paint. This piece became my way of translating that raw, deeply human experience onto canvas.
What emerged was a portal. Swirling, luminous, and alive — a threshold between what is known and what lies beyond. Because that is what chronic illness teaches you: life will deal you cards you never asked for, and yet within that uncertainty lives an extraordinary power to alchemize pain into something transcendent. :)
